Frak Capa, Tony Vaccaro are, along with Henri Cartier-Bresson, the godfathers of the photojournalism.
"Pour les connoisseurs" the "sacred monsters" of the photojournalism.
Lately I was disgusted that a "whatever", regarding the photojournalism ,copyed the title of the 3'rd episode of the BBC's "Genius of photography" documentary named: "To be at the right moment, at the right time", arrogate that this is his proffesional "faith", and all was for a stupid beer commercial (yep the money talk).
I guess the next romanian commercial will have Frank Capa's motto: "If your pictures aren't good enough, you aren't close enough".
I was hoppeing that the people who are bussy, in Romania, with the photojournalism, to be more mature and not get back in the 90's, when our country's jornalism was just erecting from te communist stupid times.
I thought that they will have the decency, in this troubled times, regarding generaly the journalism, to have respect for their own proffesion.
The year of 2008, from my point of view, is worse then the romanian photojournalism of the 90's.
A "nobody" from the hystorical point of view has the vanity to name himselfe a "photojournalist".
This happens when the vanity, oppotrtunism, haughtily and self contentness of the non-proffessionals arrogates themselfes the title of: "freelance photojournalist".
